Humping as domination of inanimate objects
He doesn't hump anything else and I haven't interfered with this activity, but I was curious about other sheepies - particularly curious if he's doing this just because he's an unneutered growing boy . . . |

| Barkley has a giant stuffed walrus that used to be bigger than him, but is now smaller than him. He's humped it ever since age 10 weeks or so.... since he was able to get in position.
He hasn't been neutered yet and now at age 8 months I can't remember the last time I saw him hump his toy walrus (or anything for that matter).... I guess he thinks the walrus has finally submitted.  |

Me, of the 4 girls (2 oes, 1mix, 1 GSD) and 2 boy dogs (1 OES, 1 GSD) that have owned me Dutch is the only one to do this, altho we are working on it and it is getting less and less  |

| When Tucker was only 10 weeks old he was playing with a ball, got half way up on the futon and dropped it. It rolled to the back of the futon and he couldn't reach it. He started humping the futon. I thought it was hilarious, it was like you could see his little thought process. As if that futon had stolen his ball and he was showing it who was boss. |
