I was thinking of not feeding him at all because I am leaving for work in a bit and didn't want him to vomit while I was away, but he was begging for food. When I let him outside a while ago he was very frisky and running in the snow. Should I call off work? I will be back on my lunch to feed him, is that good enough? The vet isn't open to ask questions yet, I'm really just looking for opinions. |

A bleach pen sounds serious. I would get information from the vet before leaving he dog alone. |
Hi,
I don't want to alarm you needlessly either but this is something that should be checked. The article below says chemical burns may not show up immediately but may take several hours. Bleach may have burned his tongue and his estophagus. Here's an article I found: http://www.petplace.com/dogs/chemical-b ... page1.aspx Will be thinking of you and please get back to us and let us know how everything is. Marianne |
Oh boy. With bleach, I'd call the vet immediately and treat it like any other poison. |
Hopefully there was no bleach left in the pen. Is he okay now? |
I know this is late but definitely take him in. Is he OK? Please let us know. I hope so. |
