Kerry,
Congrats! Be sure to bring a leash/collar and as long as they are secure (on-leash) you can walk them in a grassy area so they can pee/poop (bring some poop bags to clean up after them)! I would bring a blanket that maybe you could get the Mom's scent on before you leave and keep that in the crate with them. Some chew toys to keep them busy, puppy food, water bowls, bottled water, cleanup supplies (just in case they have an accident) and maybe a comfort toy (like a stuffed toy - as long as it is puppy proof). This will be a good opportunity to have them learn about all sorts of things - cars, noises, etc. - so use this opportunity to your advantage! Relax and enjoy the ride! Have a safe journey! Kristen |
By the way, love the name Morgan! That was my Grandmother's maiden name!

On the collar make sure you have a tag with your address and phone number on it just in case on of the puppies would get away. Good luck on your trip |
Bottled water! Definitely! I almost didn't take any when we went to pick up Cooper, thinking we could always get water at the rest areas along the interstate. I was sure glad I grabbed that jug of filtered water before we left home. One of the rest stops had a sign in the restroom that the water wasn't safe for consumption and could cause illness.
Looks like everybody's covered everything I could think of! Good luck with your new puppy! |
Have a great trip! And welcome to the forum! Please let us know how things are going when you get back! |
