| I would bet the gluey substance is because of the wheat gluten in Ziggies.
Here are the ingredients for puppy ziggies: Wheat Gluten, Vegetable Glycerin, Chicken Liver, Alfalfa Concentrate: A Natural Source of Chlorophyll, Powdered Cellulose Fiber, Mono and Diglycerides of Edible Fatty Acids, Magnesium Stearate, Calcium Carbonate, Parsley, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Metabisulfite, Tocopherols: Vitamin E.
