He is sooo cute, wish I could get him. But my husband says three dogs in the house is enough.  I would have a whole house full if he would let me. Looks like he is not in immediate danger, as they are not a shelter. I have checked on him everyday since you posted this though. |
| This guy looks a bit like my Harry, a sheepiexwolfhound. If this guy his half as nice as Harry, he'd be one heck of a dog!!! I rather like this type hair as it stops growing at about 4-5 inches, doesn't tangle. If you like the sheepie look but can't abide by the extra long hair, this guy is for you!!!
Sorry I already have 6 dogs, a 7th isn't in the cards at all! PS, large don't don't eat as much as you think.......slower metabolism. My sheepdogs and Pyrs eat exactly the same amount every day, 3 cups. |
| I've been watching Rupert on PF for quite a while. The only thing that worries me is the pic of Rupert standing up over the fence. I am worried that my 4-5' fence wouldn't be tall enough to keep him safe. He is such a beautiful boy! |
| I've called about this dog. He is safe. The independant rescuer said he has plenty of applications on him. If he doesn't find him a good home, he will keep him. |

I have been following Ruppert as well...I'm not far from him...the volunteer emailed me... Quote: He is being transported in a week or so after I get him neutered. Via Continental Airlines, guaranteed air conditioned areas all the way, at a cost of 300.00. Plus adoption, medical, and crate. To a professional golfer's family who has a lovely home in a ritzy area, on the ocean, to be buddies to a Golden the same age as Ruppert.

| Can you tell me where they are flying him to/from? I am trying to get a flight for an OES from Montreal to Orlando. No one will do it because of the heat. |
