No you don't have to take her to the vet. Her puppy teeth will fall out and her big girl teeth will come in.
Perfectly normal. |
I thank you all so much every time I post here I get the help and relieve I need... Millies Thanks you all as well... With out ya'll I wouldn't know what to do... |
Yes, it is teething time for Millie! It actually isn't very common to find more than a tooth or two total out of all the puppy teeth they lose. You have a souveneir from her puppyhood. |
Also, don't be alarmed if you see blood. Back when we were finding 1 or 2 teeth per week, we would be playing with a toy then spot blood on it and know.... "oh, he's losing another one!".
Perfectly normal. We saved the teeth for a little while, but they grossed me out so I threw them away. |
I went through the same thing with my pup this weekend...only I did see blood on the bone he was chewing. But I went through this before and knew it was a tooth...but couldn't find one! Guess he swallowed it!
Don't you think you should put that tooth under the pillow for the doggy tooth fairy to come |
And does the doggie tooth fairy bring dog cookies? lol |
I thought the first tooth that found was a claw that had come out and I freaked out. Then I found blood on Lucy's neck (Clyde's favorite biting spot as a puppy) and put two and two together! |
Congratulations! I kept Fozzie's first lost tooth that I found with the intent of putting into his scrapbook. Unfortunately, I can't find it now and wanted to put it in his book so everyone can see it at the party this weekend I'll have to toss my scrapbook around some more. |
I was hoping the doggy tooth fairy brought money so Mommy could spend it on doggy boots! |
I never found any of Max's teeth |
Merlin lost his first puppy tooth in my husband's sock. While my husband was wearing it.
We never found any of his other puppy teeth, or puppy teeth from our other puppies. |
I have my oldest cat, maltese, and yuki's teeth in several baggies downstairs in a book. I brush their teeth daily during that time period and examine which ones are loose or about to fall out, so I can find them. hehehe koko (cat) didn't come to me until her teeth had already fallen out |
Hey! I am so worried, because my puppy has lost 3 teeth in the matter of a couple of days. SHe lost one in the back, and today both of her upper "razor shark" teeth in the front fell out. Isn't that too many?! |
No I don' think so. Edgar had no teeth up top for the longest while. He looked like a little old man. |
Sky lost ALL of her puppy teeth at once. It looked awful and I called her the gummy dog or toothless wonder puppy for a while... LOL |
I pulled one of Obe's teeth as it was driving him crazy, he could not get it to fall out. Really all I did was move it just a little and it came out. He was rather grateful. Then I found another one a couple of days later, so I have two of his puppy teeth in a little envelope.
He also lost most of his at once with a weeks time it seemed like. He was funny looking. Now it is ever funnier because all of his adult teeth are in except for the one right in the center on the bottom. They are just starting to break the skin. As for the tooth fairy she said I had to go get Obe a vanilla frosty from Wendy's and share it with him. Needless to say he wanted more than the couple of spoonfuls I gave him. |
Just a while ago my 2 dogs were playing & biting eachother, and before I know it, theyboth stopped and there was a tooth on the floor! I was a bit scared at first, but is this normal, as it didn't naturally come out? |
I had the delight of having to assist a couple, as they were still attached and causing a lot of bleeding as they kept catching his gums, Archie although curious as to what I was doing with that kitchen toweling? didn't seem to mind at all.
I also retrieved a couple that he was crunching on! My wife thought me odd wishing to keep them, "we have still got the boys teeth!" I said, I was met with a puzzled look! |
