An official welcome to the forum!
Can't wait to hear about Ernie's recovery, and we'd love to see pics of your furcritters |
Wow, glad to hear that Earnie is going to be okay!! |
I second that! Welcome Lori. You'll find lots of info here on this wonderful breed we all love so much.
I think it's wonderful that you and your family share your lives with a deaf sheepie (I have a blind one.) I'm not sure how long you've had him or if you're familiar with http://www.DeafDogs.org but it has some good info to offer as does the book "Living With a Deaf Dog" by Susan Cope-Becker. Although, if you've had him a while you've probably figured out a lot on your own. Hugs and prayers to Earnie while he recovers. Jaci |
Welcome Lori, so glad you joined. Look forward to hearing about your two fur kids.

Welcome to the Forum from St. Louis, Lori.
I was so glad to hear your guy made it through the operation. I once had a Weimaraner that died of bloat while he was kept in the vet's overnight for observation of a different condition. When the vet checked him on New year's day he was dead - autopsy indicated the bloat had occured. What a terrible way to go. Thank God you were able to save him. George |

Welcome from Ontario, Canada! We already know a bit about you and the gang:
http://forum.oes.org/viewtopic.php?t=11990 I'm now wondering if drinking a lot of water, and quickly, may have contributed to his problem...I am so glad that you were able to get him care in time. Now that you are a member, some pictures are in order! |
Welcome to the forum! Glad to hear Ernie's surgery was successful and look forward to the announcement when you're able to bring him home again.
