| Yes, there is a Red Roof Inn in Bensalem, Pa. and it is 12 miles from the picnic site. It is also where we will gather on Friday night for a little meet and greet. It has been referred to as a Barktail Party, but with our sheepies it is more like a No-tail Cocktail Party! More info will follow, but I hope you will decide to join us! Last year we had close to 40 sheepies and a great group of people. The WiggleBus came all the way down from Mass. and brought Grannie Annie along. We have had friends come from as far away as Michigan to join us. Gotta love sheepie people! |

I think you should still have a "gathering" at your house too!!! The dogs can't run around together in Philly. |
| Yes, that is true, it is a State Park and the dogs have to be leashed. Not a replacement for a good old fashioned rough and tumble play date! Not many places allow off leash fun. We are working on building an offleash dog park near my home for that very purpose. Hope folks will join us any ways, it is a very friendly group: both two and four legged! |
| The NEOESR picnic has always been on-leash only, and it hasn't stopped us from having a BLAST! |

I don't want to steal this thread,verveup was at my place (to help me groom guinness, she posted in the picture area) and SHE mentioned having a fest at my place (of course I agreed) so I may plan something but Philly is not that far!! We will keep everyone posted. I have 12.5 acres so the dogs could run while we eat and yap  |

OK OK OK ...........  I said I would like to have a sheepie fest here and that I thought it would be fun( I have met soooo many nice people on this forum) and you said it would indeed be nice!! We can do this!! But lets get this Philly Party started!!!!!!Maybe I will use the poop scoop pic for my Christmas card next year!!! |
