Am I the only jock here? GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
|
Us Seahawks fans just don't care anymore.
Stupid football!!!!! |
Ditto (substitute Vikings for Seahawks). |
That is so sad |
Ditto here.... One Giants Fan, One 49er's Fan.
But for you Deb, GO BEARS! |
I'm with you Deb! We always have a Super Bowl party - even when we don't care about the two teams in the game, we still love to watch the commercials. But this year I'm really psyched to watch the Bears win! I hope they play the 1985 Super Bowl Shuffle over and over. I've love to have a Super Bowl Champion Bears hat to put next to my World Champion White Sox hat. |
Sue...if...no wait, WHEN da Bears win, you'll get your cap!!! My dad was lifelong Sox fan. When they won the World Series, I bought a pendent flag and stick. Took it to his grave, and presented it to "him". This time, WHEN the Bears win, I will do the same..but I will bring a bottle Crown Royal whiskey and pour for him!!!! The people at the cemetary must think I'm nuts!!! |
I can't tell you for which team I'll be rooting.
I do have a feeling it won't be a team that humiliated another team by doing a Superbowl Shuffle video and having a 400 pound lineman rush for an unnecessary TD against an overmatched opponent. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/69344/super_bowl_shuffle/ |
Ron, dear... That was 20-some years ago. Let it go, darlin'...let it go. GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I'm still angry the Pats got rid of that cute little cracker jack guy logo!) |
Walter was lookin good.
Did you notice how small all the players look compared to now, just 20 years later? |
Ahem... I was a lot smaller 20 years ago, too |

Oh, so you'll be rooting for the team that snuck out of town in the middle of the night because the ownership wouldn't face the loyal fans of Baltimore in the cold hard light of day to tell them they were leaving for more money and a new stadium. (I happened to be in college in Baltimore when it happened, still stings 20 years later.) Ron, I know it was a blowout in 1986 and obviously it still hurts for you. But the video was made before they even knew who they would play in the Super Bowl, to raise money for charity. Not to humiliate the Pats. And come on - who expected Refrigerator Perry to actually score a touchdown? |
The colts used to be in Baltimore? Hmm, learn something new every day!
Oh, and I'll be watching, most likely--for the commercials, but I lost MAJOR interest when the Chargers lost |
I'll go for the Colts since Peyton's daddy was once a Saint. |
