| About a 20 minute drive, you can actually drive right on the beach. Not that I do. There lots of beaches close by, lots of options I love it! |
| Cool. I know NOTHING about Nova Scotia, so I looked it up in my encyclopedia. It says nowhere in NS is more than 50 miles from the ocean. Wow!
Just curious - did you always live there (family there, etc.) or just move there? It looks like an interesting place to live. |

You couldn't find a kinder folk. I was born here, but moved around Canada and Overseas because my father was in the Military. I finally came back; as did my folks. I love it here! | Thanks for the link, I've learned my new thing for the day . It looks like a nice place to live. Our nearby town is about the same size. My kids are glad they got to go to a small town school and know everyone.
I grew up on a farm near a touristy town (Stillwater "the birthplace of Minnesota") and I loved it. It's a very scenic river town. I worked at the local grain elevator and farm store which happened to be downtown. We got lots of tourists who had never seen an elevator before, and older folks who missed it from their childhoods. |
