Duke going home
She will bring him to me to TN, then I will take him to Evansville/IN, there he will meet friends of mine that will take him to Indianapolis where his family will be waiting for him. He still will have a few hours drive to go to Michigan. Wish us all good luck and hope that all goes according to our plans. Ingrid |

Duke is at home! 
He is such a wonderful boy. When Betsy came to my house we let him in my backyard to strech his legs a bit and right away he played with Marlowe which is about his age, they were play barking at each other and just running, what a sweet boy, I wanted to keep him LOL Then off it was to Evansville. He was wonderful in the car, he put his head on my friends lap and gave her kisses, of course she wanted to keep him too. We met with the Wood's and they fell in love with him right away and wanted to take him home to meet their Sheepie "Baby", Mrs. Woods cried, she always does when she is happy or sad, love those two, such a great couple. Just got word from Mr. Woods, Duke is with Martha and Mike on their way home. They brought their sheepie Maggie along and both dogs were happy to meet each other. Betsy and I had a camera, but we did not take pictures, Betsy was crying and her mascara was running  We were so excited, we forgot to take pictures. We do have pictures of Mike and Martha and Duke.
We will put them up for all to see. Well it has been a long day for all of us, but we had a happy ending and that is what rescue is all about. Betsy is ready for another rescue |
