Here are a few photos of the big fluff-ball, including a "before and after, with Virgil demonstrating the before filthy look. Martin has fairly wavy hair so he never quite gives the pristine appearance that Virgil does with his "stick straight" hair, no matter how much effort we put in on him. Reading Martin "the riot act" as to just who is boss at Chateau Lindon; As you can see he is really worried about my "edicts" He is quite happy to suck all my air out if he gets even the tiniest chance. Yes, Virgil Tiberius (in the back) is now looking even more decidely unacceptable. Two Bobtails done so he is next on my "hit list"! He'll spend some time on the blue blanket being brushed out and then he'll be my "Tub Bud Bubb" (try saying that 3 times fast) for a few hours later in the week. Yeah for the big, long haired ones! Carl, your dogs are always beautiful...clean or dirty!
And if I may say so, you clean up well yourself! |
Martin looks lovely after his grooming day with his dad. How frustrating all that mud must have been. This has been the strangest "winter" in a very long time.
I can totally relate. We also live in a brand new subdivision (we were the 10th to move in), so our whole neighbourhood is a muddy construction adventure. Finally winter is here and we only have snowballs to clean off Barkley's feet after a walk! |
Great pics! The boys look wonderful as always
It seems winter has arrived here today, it's been snowing non stop since 2am. If it slows down a bit I'll take the furkids out to play in it |
Very nice, Carl! And I'm impressed that you did the cleaning in a suit--I guess you were showing them by example of how to look nice. |
Sorry Carl but that THIRD pic makes it CLEAR who is the BOSS in your house Sheepie kisses, GOTTA LOVE EM.
You have all my sympathy, we lived in a construction zone for two years. This is the first winter I have had grass around the entire house!!! |

No not quite, Martin had his tub on Saturday but the photos we took right after didn't work out very well - goobers on the camera lens, so we took these on Sunday after getting home from church but before I changed. The "bath in-progress" outfit is one of the very few occassions when I wear blue jeans and a golf shirt. Sometimes I wonder who gets more conditioner on them, the Bobtail or me!! Oh well it is well worth the effort when they come out this fluffy and happy with themselves. Ginny, as I said Martin was "... really worried about my "edicts"..." Oh and kisses.... nah, that was a full cleaning, exfoliation, and moisturizing treatment in one shot from the big boy Thanks and Cheers, Carl. |
He looks great! And I bet your face feels really nice after its special treatment. |
Good looking boys. Always feels great when the grooming and bathing is done, clean and lovely sheepies. |
He looks wonderful, of course!
Great photos! Clearly they are spoiled and adore their Dad! |
Oh, those two most definitely love DADDY!! But please take note that DAWNIE is not in the photos because she is at MY feet! (ok, she did run into the picture a few times just to give her daddy, Virgil a hip check.
Martin is still so very proud to be clean...I think he was beginning to plot on how to run away from himself. |
They look just stunningly handsome. I was wondering about the grooming in a suit too!! |
They are gorgeous. And it is sooooo obvious they love you to no end. |
GORGEOUS |
