Soooooooooo... since I'm hosting a coffee with about 11-18 ladies, should it be mardi gras themed? They get to take home one of the necklaces if they take their tops off? I imagine all their husbands would LOVE to get a tape of that in Iraq.
Mr. J and I had a BLAST when we went to New Orleans. Like, we argue all the time about what REALLY happened that night. He says we came home that night and my maltese was on the hotel bathroom counter. What?! No way. He says I was too "out of it" too remember. I say HE was out of it. |
That is just too cool. I am going to check at our local party/card place to see if I can get some stuff!! Guess I have to take my christmas stuff off the tree first |
Cindy,
I would be more than happy to send you some beads girl. Just pm me the address. My husband in the past has always ridden in either one or two floats a year with friends so we always keep beads and have about 70-100 lbs of them in the attic and the guest room closet. This year because of medical reasons he won't be riding. |
Wynette,
I have always wanted to attend Mardi Gras!! Never got the chance to We have friends that throw Mardi Gras parties every year. I have to tell them about the tree but I am sure they have taken their tree down by now.. Mine will not come down untill the weekend after next I am just too busy, good thing it is not a real tree!!! I hope your husband is feeling better. I will PM you!! |
I amazed that so many people still have their trees up!
If I put one up, which I didn't this year, I yank that thing down the day after Christmas. The Mardi Gras tree looks really cool, though. |
Too bad I've already taken ours down. We're driving to ILs to take the boys to their first Mardi Gras parade this year. |
