Anyone else seen it? I went with my Mom yestereday and we thought it was good although overhyped. The woman who plays Effie, Jennifer Hudson, seemed to have the biggest role. She is actually from Chicago and was one of the finalists on American Idol the year that Fantasia Barrino won. Ms. Hudson was OUTSTANDING!!!

Beyonce is absolutely beautiful, but appeared to be rail thin in the film. She normally has just gorgeous curves. It looks kind of weird to me.

That movie is next on our list to see. Glad you liked it. I can't wait!! I did hear Jennifer Hudson practially stole the whole show - good for her! She was GREAT on Idol.
