Anyway we decided to try to send something to the Canadian soldiers...since we did not have a specific soldiers name and number we could not send a package. So we sent cards...each one of my 4 children made a card for the 13 different stations. We mailed those out never expecting to hear from someone...we just hoped to brighten a soldiers day. Today we got a really nice letter from one of the soldiers who got our cards. We now have a name and address we can write to...we are going to write him another letter and see if we are allowed to send him a package and see what he would like us to send... So Thank you Leanne and Mr. J....we were aware of the soldiers before but because of you....we are thinking about them every day. |

Oh, that is awesome to hear!!! I imagine you totally made his week!!! ...and sounds like you guys have made a friend as well. I'm glad there was a way for you to support the soldiers! |
