I am sorry you are going through this. Your dog is probably experiencing some "protective aggression" over you - after your hospitalization. I would recommend getting a consult with a Behaviorist and see if they can help out.
Where are you located? I would recommend contacting Grannie Annie of New England Old English Sheepdog Rescue (grannie.annie@neoesr.org) - she will be able to offer some advice to deal with the problem - and if all else fails and you need to remove him from your home - she'll be able to help with that too. I'll be thinking of you! Best of Luck! Kristen |
THANK YOU KRISTEN,
I HAVE SENT HIM OFF TO A BEHAVIORAL TRAINER FOR A MONTH. THIS PERSON HAS HAD SUCCESS WITH MANY BREEDS, HOPEFULLY THIS WILL WORK FOR US. |
I was at a complete loss as to what to recommend in your situation! That sounds like a great decision you've made, to give everyone a chance to heal!
I hope you heal quickly and that everything works out for the best! -Ron. |
