When your dog unexpectedly pees in the hallway?

My routine in the morning is as follows:

Get up and feed the dogs.
While they eat I get a bowl of fresh water for outside, go out the kitchen door to the attached garage, put the water down and open the back garage door to the back yard.
When the dogs are done eating I put them out to the garage so they can drink and go to the yard for a bit of play and potty duty.
While they are out I go upstairs to shower, dress etc.
When I come down I call them back inside and get them settled before I leave.

This morning my son needed the car, so of cource he is up with me and in my way
I go through the routine, feed the dogs, water, put them out, go shower and then call them inside.
While I am getting my coat on to leave my son says to me "What does it mean when Bosley pees in the hallway?"...sure enough, big puddle in the hall and Bosley runs to the door (he has run through his pee, to do this of cource).
I start to think...."oh, no,,he has an infection" and I need a urine sample to drop off at the vets..etc.
I let him go back outside through the garage, and notice the back garage door tightly shut....Duh........Poor babies had been fed, watered, and then shut inside the garage for 20 minutes...(with legs crossed I'm sure)

I watched him through the window, and he just stood there, like a fountain, for quite a while..

Bad Mommy!!!

But I can still blame it all on my son for throwing me all off my schedule!

LOL

I'm surprised your dogs eat first thing and go out after... all of mine need to go out the minute they hear I am up!
Barney eats first too...
Has Bosley been talking to my crew? 2 days this week dogs came in and then someone peed in the hallway! Geesh
eating first then going out ...

that is a novel idea ...

sadie dashes for the door the second we let her out of bed in the morning ... no pause to even stretch just straight up the stairs and out the door !
Here it's Out--In to Feed--Out again. Thereafter it's chaos as each one has a different bladder/bowel time table. Fortunately it is usually the O-I-O unless Fox has already pooped in the house........
Hee-hee your mind races like mine! I'm glad there was an easy solution! :D
