Finding a breeder

| Welcome! It is awesome that you are doing your research! I'll quick post a quote about how to locate a good breeder, and then add a couple comments:

When I was looking for my puppy's breeder the BEST way to do it was by phone conversation. One phone call from a breeder given to me by Tarja led to another phone call which led to another phone call which led me to another phone call which led me to my precious boy. It sounds like more work than it was - but I did have a lot of phone conversations!!!

Absolutely! Ethical breeders produce quality, not quantity. Don't be surprised if you have to get on a waiting list for a puppy. Resist the urge to make a split-second purchase; be patient. Get the healthiest puppy with the best temperament you can afford. And ask lots of questions here.
