| You guys have to come to "Beautiful British Columbia" some time!
My favorite Christmas memory occurred a few years ago. I went to visit my friend whom lives on an Island only habited by 30 residents. As a result of the natural wilderness, no natural predators and few people the Island has an abandance of wildlife. One old fellow and his wife would feed the deer and invited us down to watch. There I was comfy in his barn watching the Raccoons also waiting for the feast to begin. Slowly the deer came out of the woods while he laid the food in the troughs. He knew each one and their history and would say.."there's old Bucky, been around for 10 years, there's Annabelle she has her girls with her, ect... Magically over 60 deer came and ate, along with the raccoons too, and only a few feet away from us. It was so beautiful! Last thing it's pretty funny as most of the Islanders have sheepie hair attached to their fences to keep out the deer from eating their veggie gardens. Apparently attaching dog hair supposedly works to keep deer away, so Merlin, Panda, Blue hair are in high demand and everyone in a while I send bags over.

| That seems really neat. When I grew up in MT we had deer in our yard all the time but they would run as soon as one of us stirred: probably the dogs! |

| Deer and cows do not like me and have become enemies...lol Between the two, they have totalled 7 of my vehicles. I swear, one of them will be the death of me, and they have me absolutely terrified to drive at night now. |
