Scammer looking for "bait" dogs
I haven't posted in awhile, but I recv'd this from Brittany Rescue (where I also help out) and they were cross posting this bulletin. Ron, wasn't sure where to post it, but thought the rescue groups would see it here. Wasn't sure if this had been circulated here or not yet. Please keep a lookout. Sue (aka pocha3) --------------------------- Recently we received a call from a man claiming to be a dog trainer. His name was Will Duncan. He said that he rehabilitated dogs and trained them for various companies including for the handicapped. He also said he was from USA Dog Training and he personally trained Cesar Millan. He will tell various different stories, but basically wants to get free dogs. He claims to have federal and state licenses. He recently stole dogs from a Jefferson County shelter. He is from Topeka and claims that he just moved there from California . If fact, he is a big scammer. Nothing he says is true. He told us he wants aggressive dogs to rehab and med. to large sized high drive dogs. We got a call from the Kansas Animal Health Department to warn us about him. They were trying to warn everyone before he called, but he had already called us. We believe he is using these dogs for pit-bait. We believe he is selling these "high-drive" or "aggressive" dogs that he gets from shelters to pit fighters who use them to "train" there dogs to fight and kill. He lives in a trailer in Topeka with his brother. Last time it was checked, he had 14 dogs that he keeps in tiny pens in and around his trailer. Please do not release any of your dogs to him. If he does call, please call Judy Bishop at 785-633-7002 with any information you obtain about him. They are trying to make a criminal case up but he just keeps staying one step in front of the law.  I HOPE U CATCH THIS PERSON. ANIMALS R TO BE LOVED AND CARED FOR. IT REALLY BREAKS MY HEART HOW THERE COULD BE SUCH SINICAL AND CRUEL PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD. I HOPE HE AND OTHER PEOPLE LIKE HIM REMEMBER THAT THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED KARMA AND WHAT ONE DOES IN THIS WORLD ALWAYS COMES BACK TO YOU. GOD SEES EVERYTHING WE DO AND HE'LL HAVE TO PAY FOR WHAT HE IS DOING TO THESE LOVEABLE CREATURES.  |

| Topeka is about 125 miles from Wichita where I live. Just last month there were about 15 pit bulls put down who were confiscated from a home where there were dozens of dogs (here in Wichita). It was believed that they were used for fighting. They were totally unadoptable due to their behavior. The poor creatures - they couldn't help it that they were used and abused in such a way. I wonder if this creep was involved in obtaining dogs for this cruel dispicable "sport". He should be punished in the worst possible way! |
| That is disgusting! I can't stand it! I watch the animal cops shows and I get so angry when they catch pits that have to be put down no matter what because of the other jerks who use them for fighting. Even the pits that are not used for fighting have to be put down in some areas just because of those who make some of the other dogs fight.
And I also think it's despicable to take animals and make them fight one another. I don't know what else to say without a whole lot of potty mouth!

| There is one problem that people do not understand .... I personally know Mr. Duncan and he does train dogs . However what you all do not know or even back check the info is that a different trainer called the Atchison shelter posing as Mr. Duncan and he also call the Kansas animal health department and complain about Mr. Duncan . Mr. Duncan is also not from California . He is animal lover and has never abused a dog or animal that I am aware of and I have known him for over a decade . This all stems from the other trainer who does use abusive training methods and was losing business to Mr. Duncan . The trainer that did all of this still trains animals in Topeka and does fight dogs and the Topeka police are trying to catch him doing so . So before you believe what you read , and think that everything on the internet is true please check facts first .
