Female Old English - Needs Home - Long Island, NY
Although I am a member here, I don't post very much so hello to all. The OES Rescue contacted me this weekend. There is currently a female, approximately 8 months old Old English Sheepdog purebred, available for adoption in the Kent Shelter in Calverton, New York. That is on Long Island in Suffolk County. I contacted the shelter and the woman there said "Daisy" was dropped off there by her family when she became "too much dog" for them. From her pictures, she appears very well taken care of. Her coat is long and clean. They say she has a sweet disposition. The shelter is a "no kill" shelter - which means there is no "expiration" date on Daisy's life. But, if anyone is interested in adopting her or needs more information, please call them at (631) 727-5731. They will interview prospective new families and are open until 4 pm - closed Sundays.
