Will Smith is a great actor and so is the young boy (I think that is his son ?) Out of the 2, though, I found the child more believable. Brings the reality of homelessness to light, but not really enough to make an impact, I don't think. The real hardships are not shown, and the ones that do show are kind of glossed over. It could be a "feel good" type movie, but I didn't even get that. I mean, I cry at "Flipper", and found that "Stewart Little" is the saddest movie ever...During this film, however, I didn't even blink a tear. We were disappointed...so if anyone else saw it I'd like to hear their opinion. |

I cannot wait to see this movie!! It's disappointing to hear what you thought.
I heard a lot of people cried. I can say that Hitch was the only movie I saw last year that I actually laughed.out.loud (entire film and nothing was forced laughter) ....so I have my fingers crossed that I will love this one too! |
I thought it was pretty good, my fiance thought it would be more about his stock broking career, but it hardly showed any of that. Also at the very very end of the movie when they are walking down the street and a black guy ina suit walks by, that is the actual guy and he also wrote and directed the film. Will Smith was great and so was his son, but it was missing ...something.
