Greetings from Shanghai, China
I'm here in China via Los Angeles, Califormia on long-term assignment and it's been a great help to me reading all of your posts. My little guy Bingo just turned 2 months old and (fingers crossed) has been a joy to be with, plays with all HIS toys, "goes" in the right place, and everything. Thanks to oes.org I was able to get prepared for the new puppy. I noticed some other posts from China... any other OES people in Shanghai? THANKS! & Happy Holidays... |

| Welcome! I am actually very concerned for you and Bingo to be a member of this forum given all of the recent dog killings in China. Some of the other people in China we haven't heard from. Your dog is adorable and my hopes are that he remains safe. |
| Las Vegas Sheepie Lover thanks for your concern. We were quite concerned as well when making the decision to raise a dog here. Most of the killings happened out in rural areas where rabies was running rampant. So far we have not seen such brutal activity inside the city.
We are quite fortunate to be living in Shanghai where dog ownership is at an all time high, and hopefully once we get Bingo officially registered with the municipal authorities he will remain happy and healthy. Will keep you all posted... |
