YAY - thanks for every-one's well-wishes!!! I'm so very proud of my boy! It sure would be fun to come up north in February but I'll have to see whats happening with school!! 
Edy was there to help and she did a bit of trimming but she also had to get both of Bingley's sisters ready for the ring. Alan P. (do you know him?) and his wife were there to help us out, too! We certainly learned a lot! Today Bingley was on fire - so excited. He placed second today and I'm very happy with that because his behavior was a bit out of control! He got freaked out by the cheering from the standard poodle ring next to us and there was a little bounce to the mat so he was scared of it, too! Oh geeze - one step at a time for him and me!
I have uploaded some pics so when they're approved you'll be able to see. They turned out poorly because apparently my lense still has spotting on it . . .  but at least we have a little memory from his first show!! |
| Just wonderful Emily, especially as you did it yourself, so that makes it even more special.
Bingley will get use to the whole show scene and distractions there, that's what it is all about. Personally the youngsters are a lot of fun to show, you don't know how they will behave at each dog show till they are use to the whole thing, that comes with age and regular showing. You have the right attitude too, make it fun and both enjoy, a tense handler has a tense dog. 
I am so thrilled for you both and look forward to hearing about the show adventures of bingley the up and coming star.
