A few days ago I wrote about my sister agreeing to take on three semi-feral cats, one whom was named Midnight. For those of you that don't know feral or semi-feral cats are those whom may have at one time had owners but for some reason or another were abandoned by them. Here's the site that I first saw Midnight, the description just broke my heart. http://www.rchs.bc.ca/modules/xgallery/ ... ded&page=2 You can see why I emailed them and told them about the perfect home for him..my sisters new hobby farm where he can live out his retirement years, with lots of love and good food. Well the story takes a weird twist.. I originally emailed the co-ordinator and told her about my sister whom I knew would take him, then we spoke on the phone. It was only afterwards I called my sister. Soon as I said porchcat..she responded by saying Midnight!!! I know him!! Turns out she found out through a neighbor of hers about this "under the porch cat" whom been abandoned by his people. She visited him often in hopes of catching him and would leave him food. One day he dissapeared and she hoped someone had been successful in catching him. Now weeks later I call her about this same cat!! My sister and I live in different municipalities, the shelter I called is not the one I foster for, so the story becomes even more amazing. Yup Karma was at fate here for Midnight and his two buddies that will join him. A nice Christmas story. Marianne and the boys |
