You must have just posted this, I came back here to see if I
could find a link. The place I thought I was getting mine no longer carries them. I already searched petedge - no luck. I will post whatever I can find. Shellie |
My mom bought Carl a nylon type of backpack. I'll call and see where she got it. |
I saw this one at petsmart, I know they have one in the store,
but it was $35. At the petsmart site: link to backpack Sorry I don't know how to make that a shorter link Here is another one, a little different http://www.pettails.com/Products/Pet_Travel_Accessories/Dog_Backpack_Travel_Accessories.html Shellie |
Is the backpack so he can feel useful or is there another reason you're getting him one?
Just curious if Barney needs one b/c they're trendy? |
thanks for the links shellie!
im getting him one first and foremost because i really like putting clothes on my dog. BUT i also want to see if he feels like he has a job when he has it on, it would be really cool if it calmed him down when we went on walks. and at the very least ill have a place to put his poop bags, and water dish when we go for walks! |
Laika carries her water and snacks. This one is nylon works great. |
Here is a nice line of dog backpacks.
We are thinking of getting one for Bogart. Glad I saw your post! http://www.ruffwear.com/Approach-Pack-t ... ategory=13 |
HI
I got this one for the Beebles (she's a wee sheepie @ 60lbs) It's not a very pricey one but good enough to try on some walks in N. GA. http://www.rei.com/online/store/Product ... view=large Not sure how she will respond...maybe like a bucking bronco Diane...shhhhh...don't tell BeeBs it is a Christmas present |

http://www.petguys.com/-700603005860.html I like this one! How does it work though? Does it have its own harness or do you have to buy a separate harness? |
Cool! Good price too - the only outward bound I found was a
bit too spendy. I think I like the red better too -easier to see at night. Shellie |
It has its own harness and then the pouches attach on top of the harness by velcro. You can remove the weight really easily when you get to a destination and then just stick it back on. It is quite nice and stays on very well. Helps if you keep the sides evenly weighted.
I also love the outward hound raincoats for about $15 each. They stay on through very active play. |
CARRY something?!? We're more worried Yuki won't make it when we're on walks, and we'll have to carry her, so I can't imagine if she had to carry something even if it's a pencil.
I know Mr.. J would love a doggie backpack for Yuki though. It would just have to be more about fashion since it would probably be empty when she carries it. I will have to include it on the shopping list for next Christmas. |
Maxxm, I think it's about time for you to upload video of Carl with his backpack!!! It's so adorable!
Nice photos Spacegirl, I love your beanie! |
I have the red Outward Hound raincoat for Simon. It is real nice material and has held up well. I just may have to get the backpacks too! |
This one looks pretty good, especially for a bigger dog.
