Pirates LOVES to have his picture taken. But Keira, man on man, she can't sit still! I must have taken 50 pictures, and Keira is so pretty in real life, but very unphotogenic (no America's top model for her!). She always looks drunk! HONEST! So, I must sadly report, I don't think she's going to make it on to our holiday card this year. But Pirate sure will look good! |

Did you try Darcy's patented "Put a cookie on top of your head" technique? |
Hey, I even used the tennis ball in my mouth system. But, as I got them to sit, down...and I backed away, she crawled on her belly to follow me! She's a goof ball! My daughter is home from college now and can help me, so I'll give Keira one more chance! And then....pppffffft! Outta the picture! |

Hey! I rescued Keira...the least she can do for me is sit still for a crummy photo!!!! |
LOL Deborah, but you are like those top photographers who will only work with the best. Poor Keira. If you were working with Harry there would be no dog in your picture.
Mine are going out within the week. I am looking forward to a picture of Pirate and hopefully Keira! |
Poor Kiera...it sounds to me like the photographer is a bit of a Diva and very hard to pose for
Our picture is a family picture of Izzie, Melissa and me...if you look closely you will see the death grip Melissa and I have on Izzie to keep her looking at the camera |
And my diva must be groomed before picture time. So, that won't be until this weekend. Everyone will be getting a New Year's card, I think... |
I'm taking pictures next weekend after I put my tree up. Some of us are not as quick on the draw as others LOL! |
haha Deb...this is why my card has only ONE dogs picture when I have 3 dogs....but I think when I get all my decorations up I might take a picture off all 3 together with the kids (kids can HOLD the dogs in place ) to use for NEXT year's card.... |
sorry deb that the cookie on top of the head didnt work for you....I would have liked to seen the tennis ball in your mouth though.... |
I can sympathize with you. There is not a chance in the world that I could pose my two and walk away from them to take a picture.
Now, if they just happened to sit down together and I happened to have the camera ready...well...but seriously...like that's gonna happen!! Therefore, I will be in the picture too. Now...if I can just figure out when/where to take it. |
We don't have a Christmas tree, and yesterday was lovely...and there were tons of geese in the lake. It was picture perfect. NOT! Keira had other ideas. That little stinker! I've already warned my daughter, and as Beaureguard's Mom said, I, too may have to be in the picture. So...when you get my card, just put your thumb over my face!!!! Oh and Darcy...I'm still picking out yellow fuz from my teeth! |

Don't feel bad, I made a feeble attempt at getting a picture this weekend, it was a disaster as well. Tasker will sit still and behave but Ty won't. I'm trying to decide whether to have my card Tasker alone or to see if I can get Doug to photo shop Ty into Taskers pic. I was planning to do a professional studio pic but WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME. This time last year I had my cards addressed and mailed, this year I don't even have the cards yet!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
