Nita,
I have contacted someone through a PM who had previously expressed to me an interest in adopting a deaf OES... I hope it works out! |
Thanks, Ron!
I understand that this little guy was turned out onto the streets of Chicago, most likely because he was found to be deaf. How can people live with themselves??? |
I contacted Grace, no response yet... but I'm hoping I can go meet the 2 males and see if they might be a match for us! |
Oh Heather! How exciting!!! Good luck! I really would love to adopt one, but Tony said it would only be ok, if we "lose" 2 cats! GRRRRRRRRR! I'm very envious and excited for you! (anyone want 2, 12 year old cats?????) |
Heather you may find that the best match for a buddy for Lil Walty is of the opposite sex. If he's anything like Merlin boy..they always are nicer to the ladies.
Best Wishes! Marianne and the boys |

Best Wishes! Marianne and the boys I agree, Marianne-- and I speak from experience now! I'm not saying it isn't possible to bring 2 males together (and we're fine most of the time) but I do know that we've never had a single fight involving a female and either of the boys. Wait, maybe one, but I think it was only for a few seconds a long, long time ago! It does seem to be a common recommendation not to run males together and, in your case, since Walter isn't exactly a fan of all other dogs, maybe he would do better with a female if it doesn't go well in meeting the males. Good luck! |
