Our new baby, Brooklyn!
 Brooklyn has been with us now for three weeks. We drove to Tennessee to pick her up, and she was an angel on the long ride back to Charlotte! She is absolutely wonderful and coming into her own! Our adoption may have been a bit different then most as she remained with her previous family before she came to us. It is so obvious that she was loved and cared for, the transition was easy. She already knows how to use her charms on her new mommy and daddy, sisters and brother!! Brook has met her all of the two and four legged neighbors, and very eagerly wants  to taste and smell them all!  I don't know where she hides that big ol' tongue in that little mouth! We are so thrilled and so thankful to have
Brooklyn join our family!!!!!!! |

Brooklyn is almost 18 months. She has cutest temperament, still acts like she's 8 months! Quite the curious girl and oh so loves to rip paper and EAT IT!  She particularly likes bank statements.... At least one of us does!
I have to watch her very carefully outside! She likes to eat the river rock and chew it and eat it. She also likes mulch, grass, leaves! I'm beginning to wonder if maybe her diet has a mineral deficit! We have an appointment with the vet this week. |
