HAHAHAAH, I doubt that TL is nicer than you KAYE!!! Maybe JUST AS NICE!!
Good Luck AND DON'T YOU EVEN think ABOUT LOSING TOUCH WITH US!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Kaye,
The new facility sounds really good for Fletcher, for you too. Backing out of the rescue will help you a lot. You always seem to have so much on your plate. You really need to take care of yourself. I am sure TL and John will do a wonderful job. Please let TL know if there are any home visits to do in this area I'd be happy to do it. |
Where is your "retirement" property? Is it south around Houston, east in the Piney Woods or up where you are now? A doggie retirement home, sounds like here. I dunno, between the Rimadyl, Metacam, aspirin, glucosamine, etc for the dogs, there's not much extra money of us human's medical needs. Still, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Don't even think about signing off here! susan |
Hi Kaye,
I'm sure while TL is very nice they just couldn't be as nice and devoted as you are Kaye. You never fail to astonish me with all that you do. That being said, you also need to take care of yourself and Fletcher. It's because of you the seed of having a home for aged dogs was planted in my head, that and seeing Riviera at the shelter..the two combined made me realize that it's something that was attainable. Just being who you are has helped others to pass on the torch. I wish the very best to TL and John, Fletcher and yourself. Marianne and the boys |
You better not even think of leaving! Get TL to join us, too! Best of luck in your "new career" and give my best to Fletcher. Sounds like things are looking up for you. |
I'll echo everyone's sentiment- don't even consider leaving us!! I do hope the new facility will be good for you both and Fletcher will get to come home soon. |
2 Drs.and 2 Assistants are flying into Dallas tomorrow for the consultation with Fletcher. The meeting is at noon. I will drive up too. Then they will come next Monday and transport him to the new facility. I am very pleased . Hopefully this place can get him ready to COME HOME ...... I just want My Husband Back. I will be Happy with what ever part of Him I Can Have. Thank You SO Much For Your Support.. Sheepie Hugs, Kaye |
Good luck tomorrow - we'll be waiting to hear the results! |
Good luck with everything! |
good luck and best wishes... |
Thinking of you Kaye... how did today go? |
Kaye,
Those of us that have, and are dealing with the illness of a spouse know only too well what you've endured, and the joy of bringing them back home! May God bless, and be with the two of you always! Mouthypf (Pam) |
Kaye,
Having just joined the forum a few months ago, I didn't know anything about Fletcher until recently. After reading old forum topics I have the situation partly/mostly figured out. I saw the posts about sending mail to Fletcher and the joy it brought him. http://forum.oes.org/viewtopic.php?t=78 ... sc&start=0 I would love to send Fletcher a card and some pictures of Barkley to hopefully brighten his day. Could you give us his current or soon-to-be address? Hugs to you and Fletcher. He is blessed to have you, as you are blessed to have him. |
