What about one of those little round thingies that Jewish men wear on their heads? Sorry, I forget what they're called.
Or, you could get/make a Chrismukkah Yarmuclaus!!! http://www.theocinsidershop.com/cat/Gir ... claus.html Yes, my name is Stephanie and I'm a fan of The O.C. - but aren't they cute? |
What exactly do antlers have to do with being Catholic?
Sorry, Stacy that just made me laugh!! I'm assuming you meant Christmas...Santa's reindeer...etc. As for a Jewish symbol for Foz, how about a Star of David that would hang around his neck/chest for pictures? |
That's a interesting little hat (still looks more like Santa's hat)
You're close. They are called Yalmukes. Quote: What exactly do antlers have to do with being Catholic? I thought about that too, but they definitely conjure up the idea of Santa and Christmas (at least for me). |
What about one with Antlers and One with a Santa Hat on and have them both sitting and in front of them one of those jewish candle holders (sorry don't know what they are called) as a prop there on the floor in front of the two.
That's incorporating the two then for christmas. |

I thought the same thing but understand where she's coming from. I think that's a great idea lisa! |
The hats are cute.
Angel and Moses? Which reminds me of funny story which probably shouldn't go here. Are you familiar with the Maloof boys? The Las Vegas playboys who own several casinos, basketball team, etc??? Anyway, they are originally from Albuquerque. When their sister got married it was a wedding to out do Princess Di and Prince Charles! It was so out of character for this little town and so very over the top.........anyway, here the largest church in town was packed solid, bridesmaids by the dozens, etc. Before the bride came down the aisle there was a voice over the PA system, deep rich and oddly familiar. The words spoken were biblical passages suitable for a marriage. As the guests listened their eyes grew wider as they recognized the voice................ it was Moses......or GOD!!! Actually it was Charlten Heston hired for the wedding. |

That would be called a menorah. Here's the picture I have of Annie from last year. She was dressed up for Christmas in front of the menorah. Can I superimpose a Fozzie picture??? All you picture people...LISA OH LISA! Maybe I can persuade Steve to will go into the crawl space early to set stuff up for the picture. Hmm... |
Stacy, Annie is so pretty. Every time I see her, I smile! |

Thanks! She makes me smile too...except when she's snapping at Foz |
hey stacy, why dont you do a similar pose, but around the base of the menorah, put some evergreens with a few red ribbons or bulbs...with both annie and fozzie in front!! |
Yes, you can superimpose a picture of the boy. You have to cut and paste. It gets tricky getting them to be the proper size. Also lighting is tricky.
Why not just make two winter type hats and scarves and forget trying to blend the two religions. Use a nice backdrop, suspend a white backdrop, borrow a sled, big plastic snowman, something that says winter (why do Target commercials flash thru my mind) as a prop. s. |
That's a good idea. Remember Heather's Walter had that plaid flannel sweater last year? Something like that for the 2 of them would be really cute... |
Me too Steph!! I LOVE that picture of Walter wearing that tartan jacket outside in the snow in front of a big evergreen. Beautiful! |
I would attempt stuffed dreidel toys and stuffed candy canes at Petco...(they have huge selection of holiday stuffies) you can mix up dog toys and throw it around both Annie and Fozzie, and put them in a santa's hat and a yamuka (sp?).... Get them to pose with each other with treats. Sometimes when you hold up a treat and make a weird noise you get that sideways head mouth closed photo!!
I hope that suggestion works... HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! Michelina~ |
cookie on the top of the head always works! |
