Tom was 25. He was in Chicago when it happened. The accident happened late Saturday or early Sunday. Anyone living in Chicago hear of a fatal accident. I am so numb.....this day seems like a nightmare! I keep thinking maybe its not him....how could it be? Laurie |

Was that the Accident on the Dan Ryan? |
I don't have any information at this time. All we were told is that he died in a car accident. It is so hard to believe. Tom is from Mich. I worked with him in Livonia at Von Maur. He was promoted earlier this year and moved to Chicago. Tom was recently promoted again and moved back to Mich. He has been back for 3 to 4 weeks. He left for Chicago on Friday to pack up the rest of his belongings. We got the news today.
His funeral is Thursday. |
How sad
I am very sorry for your loss. |
That is so sad. Car accidents are so scary. For work I'm on the trauma team, and am a trauma recorder. It is very sad the number of accidents that happen. They change lives in a moment. |
I'm sorry for your loss. |
I'm sorry for your loss. It's hard to understand that a friend is gone, and that it can happen in a matter of minutes. I'm from the Chicago area. There is so much construction everywhere and too many idiot drivers. Driving to work this morning I heard on the radio there was an accident with fatalities in my neighborhood. *sigh* |
Hi Laurie,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. It's so heartbreaking when it happens suddenly and even more so when he was so young. My thoughts are with you and his family. sending you a group hug Marianne and the boys |
I'm so sorry. How sad. |
Very sorry for your loss. |
So sorry to hear the news about your friend......... |
Sorry to hear the news, very tragic |
I'm so sorry I've been trying not to listen to the news much lately, so I haven't heard about this accident. How terrible |
Please accept my condolences. Since Saturday, I've heard about several fatal accidents here in the Chicago area. Its heartbreaking. If you have any facts as to where it happened, you can probably find some info on www.chicagotribune.com. You may be able to pull back copies there. Again...I'm so sorry. |
