I LOVE FOOTBALL TOO!!
Saturdays are so much fun, with all the pre game and game and post game activity. We're Pac-10 fans all the way, with USC #1! And, of course, gotta love the Chargers! (booo Raiders...) |
For college football I'm a fan of the Syracuse Orangemen. My nephew was #29 for the past five years - he was a cornerback. He was given a full ride scholarship to play - he was very fortunate! This year he was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes (Canadian Football League) and he is #29 as well - he is a free safety. If they win their next game he will be going to the Grey Cup in Winnipeg (that would be the Superbowl for the US). My favorite NFL team is the Detroit Lions (I'm a little embarrassed to say that ) |
I have two favorite pro teams.
The NY Giants and the NY Buffalo Bills. Hubby is 49ers fan. Neither of us watch college football. |
I am a huge football fan, Sunday and Monday are my favorite days of the week! I'm a true Chicagoan and love the Bears! I'm also a fantasy football nerd and stocked up on Panthers this year so I'm rootin for them as well! |

I like football. My father taught me all about football when I was little.
He loved watching the Chicago Bears play. My favorite college team is the Oklahoma Sooners. My husband got his BA from there and I have attended many games and I like their spirit and of course Boomer and Sooner the white ponies with the wagon. GO SOONERS! In the NFL of course it is the Chicago Bears. I have posted pics last year with Winston being a Bears fan. Look in my pics. My husband likes college football because he says they try harder and they don't get paid. His favorites are OU-Oklahoma and Ole Miss-University of Mississippi were he got a masters and doctorate. |
My daughter's sign made GameDay today!
We have traditions too: Whippin' Aggies BOOMER! |

I wish our ASU Sun Devils were as good as USC! But that's what it means to be a fan - you support your team, good year or bad. Go Devils! My team in the NFL is the Bears. But my favorite pro team is the AFL Arizona Rattlers. Any other Arena Football fans out there? Indoor football rules! |
No wonder I dislike you, Guest. |
Well being a Canadian and from Alberta...I have to love the Edmonton team..Edmonton Eskimo's.
But I grew up in Saskatchewan...and I still hold a secret desire that they win...Saskatchewan Roughriders. But whatever happens...I am not allowed to like the other Alberta team....Calgary Stampeders....Edmonton and Calgary have a long rival history. Edmonton won the Grey Cup last year, but this year they sucked. |

That's okay. It was a good old fashioned Big 8 kind of game. A barn-burner you had to watch until the end. You have the better QB, but the story behind our QB (Paul Thompson) is incredible. This guy is the ultimate team player, having red-shirted and then changed positions several times for the good of the team. He didn't have a particularly good day yesterday, but he has surpassed our expectations. I work at an elementary school in Texas. I work hard to be a good example of a good sport - and start brainwashing the little darlings. My daughter should get a discount in return for all of the kids that I have turned toward the crimson and cream. And I am thinking about starting a foundation to help all of those poor Hornfan child pay for the surgery to fix their fingers. Life would be so much easier for them if they had all of their fingers. Please defeat the bugeaters and their classless coach! And, FWIW, Reville spent last Summer just a few miles from my house. She is a doll! |

I'm not a football fan, but I do watch the Superbowl sometimes. I usually just pick a random team that day. LOL
Superbowl parties are fun... I wish more people would have Stanley Cup parties. LOL |
Not a football fan... love watching Rugby whenever I can (live or on tv).
When it comes to football I enjoy watching college better. They take more risks so it's a more exciting game. |
Not a real pro football fan, but love college. My team is Auburn. |
Favorite pro team: E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!! (A fan would understand!)
Favorite college team: I have two - Penn State (because we live in the state and have many friends who are alumni, plus they're usually a good team), and Syracuse (because my son is an alumni). |

I like Hockey too. The problem is, the Stanley Cup playoffs are just too darn long. By the time you get to the finals, nearly everyone except the fans of the two teams has lost interest. Everyone else is already into baseball season. Hockey should shorten up its post season to keep more people interested. |

Eagles Fight Song Oh, that... |
Heia rosenborg
It's my hometowns Soccer team,(it's the only football in Norway) |
That's the one, Ron! Thanks!! |
Definitely a New Orleans Saints fan for better or for worse (and we've had a lot of those worse years - lol)
We're going to another game on the 19th, and I can't wait! Jason managed to get us club seats and a Superdome parking pass through a friend (for free no less) and then we got a free hotel room with reward points - woo hoo! Gotta love the free weekend getaways (well, except for food and gas ) Oh, and for college...I graduated college from MSU (Mississippi) so I should be ashamed of myself, but I'm becoming a LSU Tigers fan. The kids were chanting "Go LSU - GO Tigers" watching the game Saturday. lol |
I have to pull for LSU too Gail, that is where the hubby is from. Makes for a rough weekend when the two tigers tangle. |
