"Through a Mother's Eyes: A Spiral down the Autism Spectrum" is my personal journey with my son throughout his first 10 years of life, living on the Autism Spectrum. This was a jouney filled with negative doctors, heartache, and major life style changes as I had to find him alternative medical treatments on my own. I offer diet and detoxing tips as well as hope for all families who might feel all hope is lost. Here's an excerpt from the first Chapter: Quote: Autism. A short six-letter word that changes everything and everyone involved. Not only does the individual diagnosed have to face a tough road in life, but the parents suffer as well, espeically the mothers of these children. That would be me. My name is Courtney.
You can get my book at Amazon.com or Barnes and Noble. Here's a link from Amazon.com (crediting oes.org at the same time!) Through a Mother's Eyes: A Spiral Down the Autism Spectrum (Paperback), by Courtney Riegel |

thank you |
My hat is off to you. As a teacher of autisitic children I know how hard your journey can be. It is just my humble opinion that when I die all the autisitic, handicapped and disabled individuals I know here on earth will be the greater angels in heaven who have been send down to teach myself and others here on earth valuable life lessons. It is also my belief that God chooses wisely the individuals to take care of his angels while they are here, He only chooses the best. Congrats on being published. I cannot wait to read your book. Take good care. Jack |

Hi,
I'm so proud of you!!!! Congratulations and I don't have to tell you how many other moms you'll be helping through the release of this book. As as Special Ed teacher whom works with children who have been diagnosed with Austism or within the Autism spectrum, a book on a mothers perspective is needed. I'm going to order your book. Thanks so much and best wishes to you! Marianne and the boys |
Courtney,
Having been involved in fundraising for our Autistic Center I have a special place in my heart for these children. God bless you and your son. Congratulations on the authorship. George |
Courtney:
Congratulations on reaching a milestone on your tough struggle. I understand how much effort it takes and, not least of all, how much love is required. More years ago that I care to remember, I worked with Dr. Ivar Lovaas at UCLA researching new diagnostic tools for detirmining autisism in infants. Those were long days of M&M rewards, frustration, and ultimate joy when our studies were accepted and the results applied. Parents such as yourself have earned your place in heaven. Peace and love. |
What a tremendous accomplishment!! Congratulations!! |
Congratulations just wonderful |

As the grandmother of a handicapped child (Tars Syndrom), I agree with everything said! The journey can be hard, but the children are amazing, each with their own "special" personality and strengths. Congrats on your new book!!!!!!!! Wish I could say the same! God bless. Mouthypf - Pam |
