Now MY mom is in the hospital
I'm glad it was caught early and the hospital is the best place for her to be. She lives about 2 hours away so unfortunately I can't just pop down there. If you are a prayer sayer, please say one for my mom. If you're not, please send good thoughts and well-wishes to Naomi. I really believe it helps. |

| Mom is still in the hospital and it is definitely pneumonia. She's on IV antibiotics and saline since she's a little dehydrated. And oxygen. Unfortunately her heart has started beating rapidly so this weekend she's been on a sedative every 8 hours. Her heart rate at least now is below 100. Her cardiologist should visit her today.
She's been sicker before, and recuperated. But we're all still worried and hope she gets better fast. My nephew (her only grandson) will be in town over the weekend of the 11th for his fiancee's bridal shower so she has an incentive to get well. She doesn't want to miss that! Thanks for all your prayers and well-wishes. It really means a lot to know that people I haven't even met care. Please keep them coming til Naomi gets home! |
