Help Needed with Transport and Fostering in SC
All of these dogs are young and friendly. Greenville, SC A male mix -- very large 95# with a tail. His name is Bo he was a stray. Recently neutered and all up to date. Very Friendly. Anderson, SC A young male stray looks purebred. will be neutered tomorrow ( Monday) and has one brown eye and one blue eye. Typical goofy OES personality. Monks Corner, SC Maggie May. A female puppy 10 months old -- Purebred with papers, housebroken, shots up to date and spayed. Owners husband said dog must go -- she is with a friend but she learned an OES puppy is a handful compared to her older Yorkies and this is not the breed for her. | Update on the 3dogs needing foster care or transport in SC -- actually there are 4... None are in danger. It was quite a scramble.
Sally is still getting stronger every day -- but not quite ready for her heart worm treatment -- a foster home has been found nearby for Sally. Shelly in Sc hopes to foster her when she is ready. Bo was picked up by Monday by Michelle and she transported him to Kay in SC for foster care. No pictures yet but we now know he is one of the sweetest most loving dogs ever. He likes to hug and herd like an OES and is fluffy but is about the size of a great Dane (with a tail) and he is a lovely blue grey brindle color. Anyone interested in a really neat young (about 18 months we guess) dog? We decided to name the dog, Andy. He was neutered on Monday. Fiona will pick him up and get him groomed. He will then be fostered by Stew in the Atlanta area. I bet we will get to see a video of this cute young boy. And the pup with the most interest -- Maggie May. Everyone wants a puppy -- applications are coming in from FL, NC, IL, TX and AZ! She will be picked up tomorrow by Vicki for foster care in the Charleston, SC area. If you are not in our area and you want to help dogs in your area I recommend you please contact the rescue contacts closest to you ( they are listed at www.neoesr.org). Contact them now and get your contact information into their files so they can be ready to have help when the need arises. You can be pre-approved (many groups require a foster/transport release be signed and/or a home visit) to volunteer for them. We need to prepare now so we don't have to scramble to help these dogs with urgent needs. We don't know what dogs are coming in from where tomorrow and we ALL can use help!
