he has not spent much time around children and has also nipped at children 3 times--nothing serious, but i am very worried!! he has a chronic yeast infection in one of his ears which bothers him sometimes, but i treat it constantly. maybe that is contributing?? advice on that would be helpful too. |

I would be concerned as well. First of all, make sure there is always constant supervision with the two of them. Second of all, chronic ear infections and "aggressive behavior" can be indicators of thyroid problems. I would recommend having his thyroid tested by Dr. Jean Dodds. Thyroid disorders are common in OES and Dr. Jean Dodds is one of the leading authorities in this area.

hi .....
back after a long while.... hope this helps, I am pregnant at the moment and my vet told me as soon as baby is born give Pisco (my OES) to smell the baby´s dyper (with poo) and as I change the baby give him to smell his cloth before I wash them..that way he will adopt him as one of the pack....and always say hello to the dog first then the baby (the baby won´t realize it but the dog does)....soon they will accept one another... |
Congratulations Vero!!!! I'm so happy for you!!! *hugs* |
