No zildjans here. |
Cute, Mandy. Only someone who is or who knows a drummer would understand! |
Yes, my thought too!!
Cymbals away! |
I actually prefer Zildjans but Bob thinks they're too tinny. Some people have no taste! |
Okay I have to ask......what the heck is a z...whatever it's called?
Marianne |
I'm wonderin the same thing too????? |
Me, too! ?????? |
It's a brand of cymbals. My son is a drummer, Mandy's husband is a drummer. Don't know Ron's connection, though. And don't know why he brought it up in the original thread on plant exchange before moving it to its own thread! Maybe he was listening to some good rock 'n roll when he read it. We all know how cutting edge he can be!! Ron? |
Zildjian 6" A SPLASH
Zildjian 16" A THIN CRASH Zildjian 13" A NEW BEAT HIHATS Contrary to what I wrote before, they look very pretty in a garden. They have a cool website at http://www.zildjian.com/EN-US/home.ad2 and they're a local company to me: Avedis Zildjian Company International Headquarters 22 Longwater Drive Norwell, MA 02061 |
Fine photos there. One of my BIL's is a drummer.
I also play in a swing/dance band. Play alto and bari sax. It's a big change from my concert band flute and piccolo days!! |
Hmm... have we uncovered another facet to Fearless Leaders mysterius true identity? Are you a drummer Ron???? |
Nooooooooooooo.
Un uh. No way. Besides needing a seriously good sense of rhythm, you need the ability to do different things with different parts of your body at the same time. The piano was a huge struggle for me, my mother played beautifully when I was growing up. |
Ron wrote: Any variegated zildjians lying around? Not so much to look at, but they have a distinctive sound in a stiff breeze.
Arnfinn is a drummer, and you give me an ide of what I can use them too In the garden with flowers |
