Lottery Fantasies
I know for myself I would first buy a nice huge home with lots of land and then I would just travel and travel. I want to see the whole world. I would of course take care of family and close friends too... |

| Actually this came up yesterday while baking cookies for our church Festival in 2 weeks.......
Unknown to each other, two of us have been separately planning how we could take the lotty jackpot money without getting our names in the paper and then turn around and build a new church or greatly enlarging and remodeling the old (which I favor) without the congregatin knowing where the money came from...........LOL! That would still leave a large hunk of money for ME! Out go all debts, in comes a world cruise, two new homes (summer and winter) with enough room around each so dogs could bark w/o getting on other's nerves. The rest would be invested so my husband and I could live without worry but not be extravagant (not our style) and at the end, all the rest would go to various charities. Oh, maybe one niece would get help as she is isn't a power and money grubber like the rest of the family.......she must take after me...........she I would leave money to. |

I'll buy a forest, build a log cabin (nothing fancy - just modern), and put in a stocked lake. My dream home when I was younger, was to build a log home out of logs from trees that "we" cut down. Hubby just smiled, and said keep dreamin'. I'd also have an attached kennel built, adopt a dozen OES and foster more.
Take care of our son and grandchildren. And, give to people that need it, WITHOUT them having to ask for it. See a need, fulfill it. Can't wait to get started!  |
Here's a nice place that you could probably buy with those winnings  . It has a pond, a barn, lots of land, it would be a great place to have a sheepiefest and it's for sale. It's located not that far from you (about 30 minutes north of Kingston). Good luck .

I would buy a huge plot of land and make a neighborhood where all my friends could have houses so we wouldn't have to worry about bad neighbors. I'd build a restaurant so none of us would have to cook unless we wanted to and hire hot, shirtless guys to do all of the landscaping.  |
| I'd buy a slightly bigger house where we weren't so crammed for space, I'd pay off our parents' mortgages, donate some to our church & a SIDS organization to go strictly to research. I'd start up a fund to help families pay for medical expenses and funerals when they lose a child (money should be the last worry during that time but unfortunately it's not).
I'd love to do a bunch of random acts of kindness for people. I like doing it when we can, but unfortunately, that isn't often. Other than that, I'd put the majority of the rest in a trust for the boys and put a little in our account and continue living like we do now. |

Sigh... first we'd quit our jobs. 
I'd buy a townhouse in Chicago and keep the house here. Then we could summer up north and winter here in between scuba trips all over the world. I'd also set up an education fund for the kids in my family (stepsons, nephews, nieces, cousins) so that no one would ever have to worry about paying for their education. |

The reason I ask about how much we're talking about is I was reading at forbes.com about the 3rd richest guy in the USA. His income over the last 2 years has been just slightly under 1 million dollars per hour. He now has about $20 Billion in net assets.  
Are we talking $24 million a day  , or something like $100 million total before taxes?

Build my Dream house, Build my parents and sisters dream house. (Brother would get sckwat until he divorced the &^#(&. Can you tell I don't like her) and quit my job via postcard. Travel and shop!!! But first I would take a vacation to Hawaii and send for my exteneded family in a week. One big party!!! |

Darn rights, I'd want peace and quiet just for Mike and I for one week. Golfing and the spa!!! Then I'd sent for them and the kids. No brother though. Awe, I'd send plane tickets for Him and the boys but not her. My Grandparents took 16 1/2 of us to Hawaii 11 years ago for Christmas and that was a blast. I'd have to have all of my friends and family there. |
| I've always wanted to buy my mom a brand new luxury car and pay off her house. If it was a lot of money I'd start a charitable foundation that deals in creating solutions to end problems. I've always wanted a paid off luxurious well decorated house and paid off cars, and travel. My dreams are always dealing in practical and sensible so I'd probably invest as well.
And then I think I could afford to have MORE SHEEPIES!!!! |
