found 2 hot spots 1 on belly 1 on side we took him to the vet for heart worms pills and to get weighed last weight 39iBs 6 .5 months old hes now 58 ibs sheesh growing like a weed he gave him a injection and specail cream for hot spots desined so he deosnt lick it seams to be working it takes about 4 days if its still a issue he has alergies we shall see. i guess pure breds have these issues according to my vet other than that hes doing great he looks like a large polar bear with a big grin on his face LOL. im figuring at this rate hes going to be around 100 ibs by the time hes done hes going to obiedience classes in 1st november looking forward to that cats are getting on with him well now much better teddy plays with him in the garden now looks funny as he towers over him but never touches him ,i think he thinks hes a puppy to LOL. HOT SPOTS dont look very good they look sore but he seams to be dealing with it ok, |

With us, my purebred dogs are fine but my Briard mix gets hot spots. I took a picture of her last one it was so bad but I'm hesitant to post it because it was so ugly. I thought it might be useful if someone wanted a good clear pic of what a bad hot spot looks like. |
I think a picture of Lucy's hotspot would be good for informational purposes. Izzie hasn't had one, but it would be nice to know what to look for. |
